Curaçao

Curaçao has everything to make your vacation an unforgettable experience.

The Caribbean island is blessed with a delightful tropical climate. Thanks to the ever-present trade winds the fully shining sun never feels too hot.

Temperatures have an average of 29 degrees celcius. The water of the sea approaches that temperature with an average of 27 degrees celcius, so that means you can swim and snorkel for hours but never get cold.

Seasons do not differ a lot and can be divided into a rainy season and a dry season.
During the dry season there's hardly a single raindrop to be mentioned, but when the rainy season arrives, heavily tropical showers can fall. Fortunately those showers takes only a short time, besides most of the rainfall comes at night.

Together with Aruba and Bonaire Curaçao is part of the Lesser Antilles. It's geographical position is located just outside the hurricane belt.

At Curaçao you can spend a long vacation without ever feeling bored; there's more to see and to do than you should expect at an island that has a surface area of only 472 square kilometres and a population of about 150.000 people.

The south coast with many idyllic tropical bays with ideal circumstances to swim, snorkel, dive or just lay down at the beach, the north coast with its distinctive rough rocks and wild waves.
The urban east part with main city Willemstad, where you can spend your time shopping, or just looking at the colourful houses in the historical city centre. Visit one of the musea or galleries, enjoy the caribbean music and don't forget to take your time to sit down at a terrace near the water and see the tall oceanships passing by.

Of course you can choose to make a boattrip yourself. Everything is possible: sailing on a historical ship, hug the coast on a motorboat, do a fishing-trip or make a day-trip to 'Little Curaçao' a little island near by Curaçao.
